Prep Time 4 minutes
Cook Time 18 minutes
Total Time 22 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Earth Balance Butter (dairy free butter if you want it to be dairy free)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1-2 tbsp cinnamon
  • 2 cans refrigerated biscuits (store brand, small can is fine) you can use one can of the larger biscuits
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 3 tbsp milk (or almond milk, rice milk, coconut milk)

Instructions

  1. Flour your surface and lay the biscuits touching to make a rectangle

  2. Use a rolling pin to roll the biscuits out (try to make them touch as much as possible to make a solid rectangle)

  3. Melt the butter

  4. Spread the butter on the rectangle of dough

  5. Mix the sweet stuff (confession: I don't always measure)

  6. spread the mixture over the buttered rectangle

  7. Roll up the rectangle on the long side (if it were a piece of paper it would be  "hamburger style")

  8. Cut every 1-2 inches being careful to keep the roll shape

  9. Bake at 375 for about 18 minutes (or when golden brown)

  10. Mix 1 cup powdered sugar with 3 TB milk (I used coconut, but have used almond, rice and cow's milk too). Pour the glaze over the cinnamon rolls and enjoy!

Recipe Notes

**This recipe can be made dairy free if you find dairy free biscuits. I've noticed most store brand (the small, super cheap cans) are actually dairy free. They usually have soy, though, so be careful if you are avoiding dairy and soy. The Annie's cinnamon rolls are also dairy free (though they are about 5 dollars a can).
